I have a Rio Vapore I found at the end of my driveway. It has come back from the dead a couple of times since I first rehabbed it, but it has developed a new issue: It will not brew coffee. It makes steam like a champ, the pump whirs along beautifully, but nothing comes out on the coffee end. I apologize for my lacking terminology, but I'm still learning. Any ideas?

is the coffee puck wet? or does the fresh grinded coffee just fall in the bin?

ok then your boiler is full with chalk or the brewing valve is broken or full with chalk.
First thing to check is if the valve gets 220v (or 110v for amerika) on the coil
and then open up the valve and use a needle to clean the little hole, or completely dismantle and clean and see if the plunjer moves good in the cylinder.

it can also be the pump not making pressure anymore, you can try to test the pump by dismounting and testing if it pulls water out a tank and it builds pressure (use thumb)

hope this helps
