They are selling the Izzo Alex Duetto II for $1,200 new. There are no ratings online that I can find, and almost no trace of the company whatsoever. Also, I am under the impression Chris's Coffee has some sort of exclusive deal as the only importer of these machines (correct me if I'm wrong).
Rule of thumb : if it seems to good to be true then it probably is. We've seen a few people getting burned by companies like this, and generally the best advice is to stay away.
This site was discussed in length on Home Barista. Look carefully at the website - no address, no phone, no owner information... Only contact through webmail. Hmmm... A look at the domain registration shows it is registered in Indonesia.
I can assure you it has NOTHING to do with me. I have contacted both Quick Mill and Izzo and neither of them know who it is. I have seen this type of scam before and unfortunately people got burned. Be careful!!!!

Ah, the old "I'll provide you with my bank account details" switcheroo. I guess the $1200 is the price you pay for the adventure of figuring out what just happened.
i posted something about interpresso a while ago, don't bother sending money to them, you might as well send them to me at least maybe i'll send you a bag of nice indonesian bean :)
medan is a city, located in the province of north sumatra (mandailing bean anyone?) sulawesi is a different island altogether (home of the toraja kalosi bean)
061 however, IS, the phone area code for medan (62 for indonesia) i just called the number, no one picked up, well, that could be because it's now 9:30pm here :) katamso road DOES exist, but not sure whether that means anything, but i doubt the number goes as high as 180 the real post codes for katamso road in medan are 20151, 20158, & 20159 the post code 20019 didn't turn up on my search
why would you want to import an espresso machine all the way from here? wouldn't you get hit by various taxes & import duties over there?
oh, no izzo dealer in indonesia that i know of espresso machine circle is very small here, you quickly get to know most of the players (in jakarta at least)
with that said, who knows, just MAYBE, they're for real, and we're just shooting at someone's legit business for offering low prices but, generally speaking, espresso machines are very, very expensive here. much more than your average selling prices in the US if i'm in he same city, i'd stop by, but i'm not
