I've purchased an older Lelit PL041 that came without a manual, and I can't find instructions for it anywhere online. Could somebody point me in the right direction please?
Mainly, I'm trying to find out if I'm waiting for the ready light to turn on or off, before brewing/steaming etc. My model has the steam knob on the front and has black rocker switches for power, steam, hot water and brewing.

You don't need a manual to figure this out. Turn on the machine while it's cold, if the "ready" light is off right off the bat, then it turns on when it hits temp and the heater turns off. If the "ready" light is on right away, then it's the opposite.
Or, run water through the brew head for 20 seconds to force the heater on, see what happens to the light.
Or just note what state the light stay's in the longest. This is the "Ready" state (i.e. heater off and boiler within temp range).

Thanks to both of you!
Got a reasonable shot of espresso on my second try. The first time, I didn't lock the portafilter tightly enough, and had water spill over the edge during the shot.
Got another question: where can I find a grip for the steam wand, to make it easier to handle? I was hoping for the type with the holding tab, but a search hasn't come up with anything.

Thank you! They did point me to one that should fit the Lelit!
And another (hopefully the last!) question: how do I best clean the water tank! The opening is small and the whole tank kind of skinny. Can it go into the dishwasher?

Dishwasher isn't going to work well since the hole is so small. Just soak some soap and water in there, shake it around, and rinse. Probably the best you can do.

Thanks again! I'm half contemplating making the opening bigger, because a real cleaning of the bottom of the tank is pretty much impossible. Unless I can find a brush that fits.
