Hi there all - this is my very first post! (Woo HOO!!)
I am looking to upgrade my grinder, now that I have a decent press. I just recently found an old Italian manual machine that I'm using now. I go to the corner coffee shop to get fresh roasted coffee ground about twice a week.
Anyway, I have an interest in this Gensaco product (EspSMALL1- Red Grinder) . It's the very last item on this page http://www.gensaco.com/esprequip_comp.html .
I contacted GENSACO and they say the grind settings get fine enough for espresso, and that the doser is adjustable. They suggest changing burrs about every 200 lbs of coffee.
Does anyone have experience with this product? I can't find any information about it at all. It looks like the sort of thing I am interested in - because I'm not ready to plop down $200+ for a grinder (yet). I'm pretty new and looking to try these things out before I spend a lot of money.

It kind of looks like a saeco m2002 which is noisy, messy and plasticky... but it also produces a pretty good grind which will work for espresso. Depending on what they are charging I suspect there are better, more modern grinders out there for equivalent prices. That's assuming this really is the m2002 or equiv, of course.

I don't know if it's the Saeco m2002 or not. I do know the price is $125
I saw a Gaggia MDF for $129 on the Gaggiashop.com, but I have heard that site is having "difficulties". I have also looked at Isomac and LeLit (Lux) at this lower price level (less than $200).
If I had some extra $$$ I would like to get that Nuova Simonelli Grinta. Maybe I just need to save my pennies and bite the bullet....
Yes, there is the Innova i2. I was strongly considering that machine as well. I had found it for $169 at caffesolo.com (but that's apparently gone for the moment).
Then I read in these forums about the hopper troubles on that model. Innova hopper issues?
I am attempting to attach an image of the Gensaco (hope it works!) Did I mention that the doser is adjustable? All of the other grinders I have been considering are doserless.
