Subject: Saeco VCia Veneto vs La pavoni Espresso Plus

I am a novice and about to buy my first "real" espersso machine.  I was thinking of buying a new Saeco Via Veneto. However now I received an offer to buy  a used La Pavoni Espresso Plus in good condition for half of the price of the fomrer. I am in desparate need for some advice which to  choose. Thanks in advanve.

As far as I know those are very similar machines so for half of the price I would go for the Pavoni assuming it's in real good condition.

Correction. The Pavoni Espresso Plus is similar to the Saeco Via Venezia but actually seems a better model than the Saeco Via Veneto.
