Just got what I think was a GREAT deal on a ECM / Sorrento Michelangelo 2 group. Needs some work, and probably tubing replacement and a good cleaning, but for $200 including the two portafilters I think it's going to be great.

I've worked with semiautomatics for years now, but never with any of the "guts". I am wondering if there is any way i can get my hands on a manual or anything that may help me get acquainted with my machine. Thanks

Linz1985,
Nice buy! Check your email for the manual. It was too large to post here.

Welcome to CoffeeGeek!

Your going to enjoy your ECM Michelangelo.  It's a beautifully designed and built machine.  I've got a single group version in my kitchen and am amazed at the espresso it produces.  I've never seen a manual for it but as a general rule espresso machine manuals are pretty worthless.  Check with the distributor,  Burgess Enterprises,  they may be able to supply a manual.    If you have other questions related to the machine, just ask.

I just bought one too. It certainly needs some work! Could someone email me the manual?

Thanks,

Hi Beeb,
I just saw your response about the Sorrento manuals.  I found someone in our area of northern Michigan with the same machine today.  We repair commercial kitchen equipment but have never seen an ECM machine before.  After two hours of phone calls and I-phone internet searching
we could not find any help.  I would be very pleased if you could also E-mail the Sorrento manuals so that we can find the parts needed for repair.
   Thank you for your help!!

I just bought a lightly used ECM Michelangelo A2.  I have a parts list, but a manual would be a huge help.

Bought this machine 4 years ago, finally pulled it out of storage but couldn't find the manual. Would rather not hook it up without it. Could anyone email this to me? I would greatly appreciate it!!

Hook up is pretty simple really. Just what about it are you unsure of?
Basic steps.
Make sure you have the proper electrical supply for the machine.
Make sure you have the proper water filter system.
Connect to water.
Connect to electric.
Turn water on.
Turn electric on.
Turn machine on.
Let warm up and enjoy coffee.

If there are problems on startup, most of the time, the manual will not address them as the normal situation of hookup is for a Tech to do it and they are familiar with trouble shooting and basic procedures.

If you have problems, ask here, there is no shortage of opinions here!
