hey guys just noticed a neat option with the duetto, wonder if others do this:
with the machine plumbed in, and the lever in mid position, there's no water flow.... but if u just keep lifting it a tiny a bit, water starts flowing from line pressure, without activating pump.
i've tried 2 shots so far, giving it 10 sec of preinfusion.... the shots pulled were 'picture perfect', beading evenly from start, and streaming nicely centered until end & of course, more importantly, resulted in great espresso!
cool! something else to play with :) i'd say i usually get 50% of the shots to pull like this... if this brings up the percentage i'll be very happy.
