A while back, Mark Prince posted about his find of some great LED lights from Ikea.  
"Daylight Balanced LED Lighting System for espresso machines"

Recently, I found a clip-on LED light at Ikea that gives off a very white, intense light that works great at my coffee area, and does not need to be mounted on anything permanently.  I have the clip gripping a kitchen cabinet that is above my espresso machine, and the gooseneck light can come in fairly close to the group to illuminate the shot nicely.

The lamp model is named JANSJÖ, and sells for $29.99 USD.
