Has anyone heard about or had experience with the Saeco Nina? It looks to me to be a low-end Gaggia knock-off. Is that the case? I can't make up my mind if I should buy a decent low-end Gaggia-type machine and a used grinder or if I should try to find a "cheapish" used super-automatic like the Gaggia Synchrony. Any remarks?
You right Saeco nina does look like Gagia and it is because Saeco ows Gagia and recently moved the plant to Romania. With respect to automatic machine its just like cars, some like stick some like to push the gas and not think of anything else.
I have been using the Nina at my office for a few months. We didn't like it at first, but we figured out how to get a decent pull from it. I posted some tips here.
