Subject: Can anybody identify the mystery espresso machine?
 

This is an Illy branded machine.  I can't find a single piece of information about it anywhere.  Anyone have specs? Manufacturer? Anything?

It is supposedly a machine that was sold to restaurants for around $600-$800.  It takes...you guessed it...Illy pods.

It was made in Switzerland

It's hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like it may be a rebranded Turmix. Was it made in the '80s?

Reminds me of a UNIC Phoenix. Sharper pictures would help, as would a picture inside the machine. Did you try calling Illy to see if a parts guy can ID it?
