Subject: Problem with my machine

I've been having this odd problem with my machine lately (Grindmaster 1750). The pressure gauge maxes out but the heating element is not active. If I open the steam wand water comes out, the pressure drops and the heating elements come on. I'm just trying to figure out what part I should be looking at.

Any pointers would be a great help! If more information is needed I'll supply it.

Please don't say things like "get a real machine" or "Grindmaster is junk". I'm well aware that some people don't like the machine but it has been great up until this point and still work fine as long as I release steam every 45 minutes or so. I'd just like to figure out why this is happening and resolve it.

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks! Do you know if they can be cleaned/rebuilt or should I just buy a new one? It's a $19 USD part but if it's a cleanable mechanical part I don't mind giving it a try!

Thanks again!

Thanks,

Tom

I agree and I'm going to order one Monday. I was just hoping that I could do something with it in the interim to make the machine work better. It takes about a week for me to get parts for it.

Thanks,

Tom
