Bump back to the top.

Hmmm...  I'm thinking about asking a moderator to kill this thread and move the first post over to the Espresso section?

The moderators can delete it, and you can post a new thread on the other forum. I don't think it'll make a whole lot of difference though.

Email one of us if you'd like us to delete the thread.

Well, getting closer.  I've discovered that it's made by Carlo Giannini.  I've found a similar model but it's smooth sided not angular like the one I'm looking for.  Also the one pictured below is a very limited version.  Apparently only 2000 were made putting the price for this one at upwards of $3,000 US.

On the base plate it says "FIBBI project SANTI SIRCANA design", but I doubt this is any help.

Maybe I still have the original box in the basement.

Does anyone know how to get spare parts from Giannini?

sorry to bump an old thread.

I have one that looks like urs except mine the top portion is round.

Venezia by Carlo Giannini.

couple of things about this  unique pot:
- coffee holder is fully adjustable to make 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6  cup of coffee.
- it whistles like a tea kettle when coffee is ready.  The whistle an 8 inches round cylinder installed on top of the spout.
- patented fastening system.

I cant bring myself to use it; I dont know if it performs as good as it looks.
