Any help on identifying this brewer would be appreciated.  Make and model preferred but at least maker would be great!  For anyone that correctly identifies the model I will offer up two Giannini espresso cups and saucers similar to the one seen in the picture but in white.

Edit:  I've since found the maker but am still in search of the correct model.  Hopefully it's not quite as rare as the limited edition I found and have pictured several posts below.

Sorry, no idea!

If you want to search for images, I recommend using search.live.com. M$'s image search engine is  very good and displays all images in one page. You can just keep scrolling through them.

Yeah, I used that and Google images.  Searched for hours until I went cross eyed!  ;)

Here's a picture of the white espresso cups I'm offering as a reward.

Okay, I'm dying to know now since you haven't gotten an answer.  I know very little about coffee makers but am happy to join in the search.  Can you give us some clues?  I assume the brewer wasn't a set w/ the espresso cups/sacuers.  So where's the picture from?  Do you have the actual brewer or just the picture?  (Optional: Why the urgent need to learn the make/model?  ;0)

Hi Christine.

I wasn't posting a contest... I'm searching for this as I don't have any information on it and was hoping that someone here would.  I don't believe that the cups/saucers belong to the brewer as I've seen them with other pots as well.  As for urgency?  There's no rush but I figured a reward might produce results a bit faster.

Hi David:

Sorry if my post read wrong.  Didn't think it was a contest but was very curious to know what the brewer is, esp since no one here seemed to know (and this is coffeegeek).  I love to research stuff so I thought I could help.  I even browsed thru a flickr gallery of coffee maker history photos to see if they could give some clues.

Was wondering about the pic to get some idea of how to search.  Eg, the photo is from an Italian magazine from the 70's, or it's a photo of my parents w/ a set they bought at a department store in Japan, etc.  That kind of info might've helped figure out the make/model.  And yeah, I guess I thought there was some urgency to finding the answer since you posted a reward.  I thought maybe it was something like you wanted to get the same set for your wife's birthday, etc.  Wasn't interested in the cups, just wanted to help.  And just plain curious (aka nosy ;0).

Anyway, good luck w/ finding out the info.
