Posted Wed Jan 10, 2007, 9:39pm Subject: Getting rid of the pressurized PF on a Krups....
I have a (gulp) Krups pump machine; I don't know the precise model number, but it has a wierd pressurized PF that can be set for 1, 1.5 or 2 shot sizes via an interesting rotary collar on the outside.
The inside diameter is 55.8mm, with an outside diameter of 67.5 mm. (I have a quite-accurate digital caliper set :) )
The bottom of the locking "tangs" are 14.4mm from the top of the PF basket.
Is there a NON-pressurized, standard portafilter that can be sourced which will fit this machine?
I believe most if not all of the Krups "consumer" pump machines use this same PF design.....
