Screw that.  Leave it here.  I'm interested.  It's a fun thread and an exciting time for Dom.

One of the great things about this forum is the ability of folks to share their anticipation with everyone.

Don't like the content of the thread? Then stop reading it.

I'm interested.

It's not he's waiting for UPS to show up with a new pair of socks or something. As far as it goes this is pretty relevent. Anticipation just heightens the, er, well you know what I mean.

I'm interested as well.  Many of us are following the continuing saga of Dom's Wega.  I may even go to Barefoot to see it in person!

I think Dom was maybe just using a little sarcasm?!

Maybe topherbecker did not realize that sometimes(ok, a lot of times)
sarcasm is used in the GC forums. The added sarcasm, etc. does
usually make the posts much more entertaining!!

Dom, it will be great when you do posts some pics or info on the
"KILLER."

Hey Dom, did you go for the ankle-length or the full-length crew socks?  Last time I bought, I looked for the ones with the color stripes on the top, but they are really hard to find.

As soon as the socks arrive, please post pix, including pix of the unopened box, and (keeping my fingers crossed for this one) a picture of the UPS guy delivering the box.

Ok, well welcome to Coffeegeek.com all of you new posters. This is the espresso machine and grinder forum. Revelent posts include those of information based on espresso equipment and grinders. This includes modifications and the banter between those who are participating in these modofications. To ask us to take it private would keep those who are interested out of the loop. Information swap is what this forum is all about. So please sit back relax and enjoy the ride.............

Man, I just had this big long comment written about how it wasn't so much the 'chit-chat' aspect that sprung me but that I was most concerned about the tone of DOMs comment and how I didn't feel it was up to community standards, out of line, angry, hurtful... etc. etc. etc.  blah, blah, blah

And now I see that I apparently missed the sarcasm...went completely by me...oops.

Bebs, you could have saved me a half hour of typing and editing if you had posted sooner.  Oh well.  At least I DIDN'T hit the post button on my page-long tirade.

Nothing irritates me more than someone giving me (or anyone else for that matter) advice on where and when to talk about things and when the conversation should be considered "over".

The parallel i draw is this:  A bunch of us are hanging out by the street looking at dank's POS teal 4cyl mustang.  We're talking about the car, joking around, etc., then someone walks up and says "hey, conversation's over--you want to continue talking, do it inside your house" It's rude and egocentric.  You don't like the fact that we are making fun of dank's car, don't listen--we're not bothering anyone else.  Either join the conversation or scram, but don't tell a group of adults what they should/should not be doing/taking about, etc.

Now, if the police (mods) were to come by . . .
