After thoroughly enjoying my new Livia for the last six months and even newer Mazzer Mini (one month), I decided to throw another piece of equipment into the mix, this one much cheaper: I ordered the XL basket from Pasquini.
I'd appreciate experienced Geeks' thoughts on the best shot volumes (a ristretto, of course) and pour durations for the basket. So far, I've been experimenting right around 2oz in 28 seconds, with 30-35 lb tamp and temp. surfing.

Ben, it is in the article; about 3/4 oz, but it varies from shot to shot and is not always the same. Good luck and I hope that you can duplicate what I wrote. Feel free to ask any question(s).
