Subject: Repair Expobar Office?

Hi,

I have a chance to buy Expobar Office Control
She dates 2002.
can anyone tell me if it's worth buying this machine for $100 if it doesn't work?
The seller says that it doesn't work, doesn't heat up....
Is it worth to buy the parts and repair it? I think it is probably the electronic control that is out...

What do you think? Any ideas? Worth the challenge?

Thanks in advance

For only $100 I'd grab and try to fix it. Go for it!

Usually when a machine simply won't heat up it's likely just a broken heat element which can be fixed for around $100.   Are you able to get internal pics?

Thanx burner,

no chance to see the inside, I will have to ask for photos, but it is the machine with the "brain", that probably doesn't work...You know it has some program for functions and that part is 200 bucks I think...

Also the boiler doesn't heat up, but it could be because the electronics are dead, I don't know?...

So, in worst scenario I am looking at a new circuit board @ $200, tank @$125 and coil @ $25....Is it still worth it?

I wish someone with this machine would chime in....

Why would you need a new tank?  Is that a new water tank or do you mean boiler?
