Our beloved VBM has been playing up - no water coming through the group head. Have followed advice and removed the bypass hose form the OPV and that doesn't seem to be the problem. Have given the machine a very good clean. Water is flowing through the group head now but not with much pressure - not enough to give an extraction. The pump is running for a fair bit longer than usual when I first turn the machine on but is also running much quieter than usual. Pump is not kicking in to autofill following lifting the lever to run water through the group head. Pump kicks in after I have run water from the hot water spout.
We live fairly remotely and getting the machine in to be serviced is not so easy...we may not survive without coffee in the mean time! Tea is just not cutting the mustard :(
We had the machine serviced not too long ago and the thermostat was replaced during this servicing.
Does it sound like the pump could be the problem? How do I diagnose this? And is it possible to replace this ourselves?
Also - a labelled diagram of parts is very difficult to find online - can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Hi, could be a lever switch fault ( or part of it), Did you tried to push it without lift the lever?
