Subject: EC155 Unpressurized basket options?

I've been trying to find an unpressurized basket to fit my Delonghi EC155, but I'm not able to find the one most people use in stock which is the 607706 everyone seems to have it backordered until april or something? I did find out that a few Mr Coffee and Krups espresso machines use 51mm filters, and found this

So I'm wondering what you guys think of this? In the questions section someone asked it's dimensions and she said 5.2cm which is 52mm on the outside. If this is not acceptable does anyone else know a different one?

I bought this machine last week and had planned from the start on replacing the pressurized filter as well as the steam arm with a Silvia V1/2 wand.

Well I placed an order with Stefanos and ordered the basket from a Saeco Starbucks machine which I found mentioned that it's about the right size. It was only 15 bucks so figure it's worth a shot. Also ordered the Silvia V1/2 steam arm from there.

Hi Harold, did the replacement basket work? How are you liking the EC155 so far?

Enjoy!

Advise on the steam wand. If you find that it's to loose swiveling around just warp Teflon tape for friction between the wand and plastic piece holding it in place. Worked nicely.
