Subject: 1980's GAGGIA Old White Coffee OWC - Electrical Help needed!

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a 1980's Gaggia Old White Coffee Machine, known by some as the OWC.
The guy I bought it off had partly disassembled it whilst fixing something and then couldn't remember how all the wiring went together again!!

I've been struggling to find any clear wiring diagrams or good internal photos of a working OWC. Does anybody have a decent diagram of the wiring? Or an OWC of their own that perhaps they could take some internal photos of??
Other than the wiring this machine looks to be in good condition, I'm really keen to get her up and running.

Here are some pics of the current wiring situation if that helps!

Thanks in advance for your help!

If you put the machine together except for the wiring, and lay the harness in place, you might find that a good part of it will show how the wiring goes by the way the wires lie in the machine. From there, some of the colors may be the same as the more current models, and much of the rest can be figured out with an ohm meter and basic electrical knowledge. For example, if the main power switch is DPDT then the hot and neutral are possibly both switched. If none of that makes sense, then contact the current sellers or importer (I believe it is Whole late Love) and they could possibly send you a digital schematic.
