I'm restoring a NV Mac 2000 1 group which was very clean except for black soot in the tank and an important buildup of minerals on one of the external contact screw of the heating element. There were no signs of water leak so this is a little surprising.
Does anybody know what could have caused that? Should I change the heating element?
The machine is currently completely disassembled, I'm going very how the element behaves as soon as everything is back together
