My appia has really low brew pressure. Its sitting around three now. It just all the sudden did this. I tried adjusting the working pressure via the user manual but it didnt do anything. I called simonelli and they told me to take the take these two pieces apart (where my finger is pointing in the photo) but I couldnt get them apart to save my life. Not sure what to do now.

Are you referring to the pump pressure? I replaced " (S_25) Nuova Simonelli Expansion Valve Complete" which was leaking. This controls excess pressure but can wear out and leak which causes lower pressure in my Nuova MAC digit. Every time I would turn the pump on for the extraction, there was considerable leaking into the drainage area - this was my clue as to what was broken. There are kits to rebuild this valve which are much cheaper. Just to add a little more, this valve would leak even without the pump running which made the pressure stat (turns on heating element) cycle on and off with much higher frequency as well. Hope this might help.
