Hey folks,

I present to you my final project for a machine shop class, a portafilter. Not just any portafilter though. It is the only portafilter that I hope I will ever need. (Please pardon the punny name... it was actually a requirement).

Now, the reason that I titled this thread in the way that I did is the following: the bottom of the portafilter screws off, leaving you with a bottomless portafilter. Also, the spouts are not lock-tited on. Instead, I used an O-Ring so that it would snug down tight, but would still be easily removable.

The result is that the portafilter can go from 1 spout, to 2, to bottomless in about fifteen seconds.
