Subject: My Silvia mods
 

Well did a little work Mod/Restoration on my silvia..

New PortaFilter Gasket
New Shower Screen The flat one
Auber Ins. PID with Steam/Pre-infusion/brew controls
v3 steam wand and knob

I am very glad i did the shower screen i didn't realize how nasty it gets i scrubbed under the shower head for a good 5 mins..

yeah, they get pretty gross.  A 30 min soak in a hot Cafitza or similar solution cleans them well, especially if you take a few moments to brush them with a nylon bristle (which is also good for brushing the group behind the screen).  I just recently was advised to do this every three days, and am following it.

yeah i did not see a whole for water dispensing till i started to scrub surprised the thing worked at all..
