Subject: Portafilter Gasket Falls out????

I rebuilt a '90 Pasquini Livietta, and ordered the Maximatic Pasquini Livietta Big Group Portafilter Gasket from OE to replace the old original gasket. For a week it worked perfectly, and starting this weekend, once the Machine fully heated up (around 1hr after a cold start) the gasket falls out. I have pushed it back in, but it keeps falling out when the machine is hot.

Is the gasket the wrong gasket to use? It seems to fit perfectly on the cold machine, but clearly once everything expands when hot it does not work.

Any advice? It is really frustrating, as I was just starting to get some drinkable shots... (steep learning curve from the Delonghi machine I was using.)

Thanks

Zev

Zev, why not contact Doug via email.
I'm sure he will be glad tom discuss a solution. He and Barb are beyond gracious.
