Bought some Insul-Bright on the weekend and insulated the boiler. I guess you know it's working alright when you can touch the insulation and it just feels slightly warm when the boiler is at full temp.
Changed the name of the post as I guess it's just going to be all of the mods that I do to my Appia.

Finally got my arduino bluetooth module. Took a few days to work out the bugs but now I can get data and program the arduino wirelessly. I can finally put the machine back together without wires hanging out everywhere!

Put it all back together... then had another thought. Since I've got bluetooth connectivity now. I attached an old android phone of mine to the side with it's car mount. :D

And I think I have to redo my pid settings.... the thermodynamics of an insulated whole machine seem to be different than a torn apart machine with an exposed boiler... strange. :P
