Subject: Is MLG-pidkits still taking orders ?

Good day,

Could anyone (or m. Gallt himself ?) confirm me if it still possible to order SD3C pidkits from MLG ?
I have attempted to make an order a few times in the last month or so, without hearing back. :-(

Too many coffegeek members offering a "gift from me to me"... ?
;-)

Thanks for the reply -cheers

Steph

Hi, Steph -

Sorry, we're not making the kits right now. I am working on a few other projects, one of which may be a replacement for the Watlow-based systems.  No timetable for availability.

Thanks for the quick reply Jim.
That's too bad... I'll look for another kit then.

Cheers - Steph

Just bought a PID and pressure gauge kit from pidsilvia.com. They were a bit cheaper than most. I'll update you with how the mods go if you'd like..

Thanks. Finally, I have ordered and installed the Auber pre infusion kit with brew and steam ctrl.
The install was pretty straight forward. I'm very glad with the results. The steam is much more consistent, resulting with more consistent frothed milk and easier latter art. And I no longer have to temp surf, leaving me more time to dose and tamp carefully. A very worthwhile upgrade for me.

Cheers
