The heating element went out in our Dream. Since it is part of the boiler unit, it looks like we have to replace the boiler. Unfortunately no one locally works on these machines. If anyone has any experience doing this, any advice would be greatly appreciated. In addition to the boiler, I was going to replace the large gasket as that is an inexpensive part and probably not worth re-using the old one. As far as the thermostats go: Should I try to remove the existing thermostats from the current boiler, or is that not advisable? Do I need to use thermal paste between the thermostats and boiler, if so what is recommended? What other considerations am I missing in replacing the boiler?
