Hello,
I have recently descaled a 2 group S20 and solved all leaks and issues on it except one, which I have been tinkering with for weeks to no end.
I am getting almost no water out of either brew head, it spits, and slightly more water is released from the solenoid valve as it runs. I re-soaked one head in citric acid and bought a new solenoid and valve for it but still no luck. I know power is getting to the solenoid but it just won't seal even with the new one. The pressure gauge is consistently reading close to 9 bars.
Could this be an electrical issue? A clog in a seperate line? The Rotary pump?
I just find it odd that they both do the exact same thing...
I would sincerely appreciate any help. This is my backup machine and the machine in my shop is in bad shape and needs reconditioned immediately. :(

well depends what kind of a descaled you did, did you removed every component, boiler, boiler pipe and soak them, rinse, let dry, make sure no scale flakes were left behind then replaced and reassembled or just a partial descale/rebuild? did you open the flowmeters? did you check the gigleur and screen? any restrictor on the upper line of the HE Exchagers? most likely some scale "chucks" are stock somewhere and restricting the flow

-I did a complete descale but have not replaced any components. I used citric acid+water -I opened the flowmeters and they seemed to be in working order as far as I could tell -I did not check the "gigleur and screen"? (from a web search, would this be the screw in the side of the procon pump that adjusts pressure? I know I soaked it in acid but would not have checked for blockage) -Im unsure if there is any restrictor on the upper line of the HE Exchangers either.
I have attached pre- and during- descale images so you can see what I started with (pre reassembly pics taken) https://plus.google.com/photos/116251503 051937886550/albums/5795522453422034497
What would you recommend as a next step? descale again? or I have read that you can pump water into the boiler that has citric acid mixed in and run the machine in cycles to break up corrosion??
Thank you for your time, it is deeply appreciated. Tim
