Yeah this figure confirms what I was thinking and what I saw elsewhere. What is weird is that it seems my Silvia had the wires reversed. However it shouldn't matter since its a switch, up down, down up, should do the same.

Just a short update.
I am almost done setting up everything, however I had pondered for a while as to the best place to choose to install the two SSRs. One option was to put them both next to the 3-way valve. However there isn't that much room there, and the second SSR would have to be sticked there somehow, or bolted down by drilling a hole in the frame (which I'm not fond of).
Another alternative was to put them both underneath the machine in the back, where the pump is. However if I put them there, they will be exposed to outside elements. and I'm also not very fond of that. So what choice is there left?
Well I finally decided to put one in the front next to the 3-way valve, and one in the back on top of the frame next to the pump.
I still need to purchase a small nut to tie the SSR in the front next to the 3-way valve. I also need to buy a bolt/nut to bolt the one in the back.
What I also bought this morning is a small magnetic sheet (one side is sticky), which I applied to my PID box so that I can stick it underneath the machine and easily remove it. Its a good idea right? Well, it doesn't work! Turns out the magnetic sheet is not strong enough to adhere to the machine, and even when also sticking a small sheet underneath the machine, so that the two magnetic sheets actually connect directly, its not strong enough to hold there.
So I guess I will rely to a double-sided tape for this task.
No not yet, I haven't had much free time to finish putting things together, and still need to find a nut/bolt to tighten down my two SSRs. Seems they only sell boxes of them everywhere.
Hopefully by tomorrow! My Silvia is on the desk in pieces, so I'm cheating on it with the Bialetti in the meantime!

I connected everything, found some industrial-strength velcro and the two bolts to tight down the SSRs. I started the machine shortly, ran some water through it, everything seemed OK and the PID was displaying what seemed to be the temperature!
I will test everything more thoroughly tomorrow, and hopefully pull my first PIDed-shot!
Actually I also need to read the Auberins manual and see how to setup the pid correctly for brew and steam (change the alarm output settings?).
