We haven't been using our Millenium daily like we used to, probably about 3-4 times a week. This morning I went to turn it on, drew water through the group, put the lever back down but the pump kept filling the boiler to the point where water is constantly coming back out through the overflow pipe in the tank. This happens every time I turn it on.
I currently have some citric acid in the tank, (of course the machine won't heat up unless it is constantly cycling water through so machine is off) is it maybe scale build up on some sensor somewhere?
I really hope I can fix it, i'm not particularly technical and I have a newborn at home at the mo :)

It might be scale, bad connection, bad control board one of half a dozen things but you are starting in the right place. Also check the wire to the level sensor, on both ends.
