There is a small leak in the boiler around the big bolt that is keeping the boiler in place.
I am not a mechanic and I am a bit stuck as to what I should do:
Unscrew the big bolt and clean and put some sealant (Loctite 567) in the thread. The problem with this approach is that the bolt is likely to be terribly stuck. And I need to loosen two other joints and they might be stuck too. Since there are hard copper pipes attached I also don't know how easy it would be to tighten it all after completion (crossing the threads by mistake). How to unstuck the thread?
Some quick and dirty solution by just applying some epoxy around the joint. I am not even sure this is able to withstand the pressure from the boiler, but there are so many things out there so I would imagine something like this might exist. Any suggestion.
Sorry but my English vocabulary is a bit weak here. I have attached a picture so you can see where the problem is located. Should I go for (1) or will (2) do? Any advice greatly appreciated.

The only way to repair it is to take apart the machine as far as you need to so that you can reach the damaged part and replace it. Trying to smear something over the leak almost never works and it makes the repair harder when the part is finally replaced.
This sometimes means that you will do more work than is minimum as things like bolts break and or strip causing that damage to be repaired too.
Sorry if this is not the answer you wanted to hear. It is just my opinion and you are free to not listen to it. YMMV!
