Well, I never figured out what that button did but I'm not too worried about it. Now I am on to the new Procon pump. This machine doesn't come with any kind of gauge so I am just going by touch (hardly scientific).
I bought a refurbished pump because the old one was siezed. The pump probably came pre-adjusted but I messed with because honestly, I don't know what I am doing. I thought it had a bit more pressure behind it so I tried to adjust it to where I thought it should be (only about a turn or two out). When I start to pull a shot, there is no 5 seconds before it comes out. It's almost instant no matter how hard I tamp. Should I also adjust the 3 way solenoid at the group head? I had to take the nut off to clean the small passages in the grouphead and I wasn't sure if that nut should be tight or adjusted properly. Thanks for all your help.

Also, it seems like half through a shot it starts to foam and bubble out of the basket. I can see it foam and create almost a thick cone which doesn't really look like the nice syrupy crema that I would like to see.
