I am working on a couple of SJs, one from '96 and one from '97. The one that is finished is from '97.

These are in fairly typical condition for grinders that I see that were in commercial service, perhaps a little rougher than most but not far from the norm.

This is an overview shot of them on the bench. I take them apart as need to make sure they are in good shape when I am done. The '97 is nearly ready to go to it's new home with a friend of my son and a CG member who is in the Navy. It is a Christmas gift, SHHHHH don't tell!

Both these grinders looked like sisters, the same color and wear patterns.

They get disassembled as need, this is the doser of the '96 in pieces and the nearly finished one of the '97. Notice that the older one is aluminimum while the newer one is stainless steel.
