I have a Saeco Vienna with the Panarello frothing wand. I am having trouble getting good froth with it. Has anyone had similar trouble? Are there any modifications I can do to the machine/ or switch out the wand (maybe with the Silvia V3 wand)?
I used to have one of those machines. The only real mod you can do is to replace the stock panarello with a stainless steel one from a Gaggia Titanium.
It allows less air to get through and makes it at least possible to get some microfoam. This machine just isn't the best, like most superautos (except the Quick Mill Monza) it suffers from weak steaming power.
I still have the upgraded tip even though I no longer have the machine. PM me and I'll see if I can send it out to you.
Does anyone else have experience with this machine or any other ideas? It seems that it takes in too much air, is the only way out ot try out the gaggia tip (which I cant seem to find anywhere)? Can I just seal my tip somewhere to slow air intake?
