Thanks, I went ahead and order a PID and SSR from them. For the price you really can't go wrong. Plus these guys are located 45 mins from me so if it fails, i'll be knocking at their door.
Did you mount the SSR in the project box as well? And i'm assuming you just tapped into the jumper block to power it, and drilled a hole on the side to pass all the wires through.

As soon as Rusto puts more pics/video up I am gonna buy the stuff to try it. I am one of those guys that can follow instructions/pictures real well. LOL. Also, I'd rather not drill holes to the side of the machine. Do you think using double sided tape to attach the project box to the side of the Aroma would work ?

Done with taxes. Tomorrow I'll do it up with pix and possibly vids, too! It's pretty darn simple, when you break it down.

Hey, man. Nice shot.

You're bringing us lurkers out of the woodwork Rusto.  I'm anxiously awaiting some pics or a write-up tutorial on this.

my PID and SSR are here, I need to go to ratshack and get a projectbox and the spade connectors. Also waiting on some new tubing to come in for my OPV mod.
I wish there was a prettier way to mount the PID.

Bill, welcome to CG!
The sentiment at the bottom of your page is welcome.
Also, welcome to Tim!
And Ruston, great stuff!

Your PID almost makes me want to remove my Estro 410 from the BST Forum (boy, what a sneaky way to get that plug in! LOL)

Seriously, If I wasn't a lever guy.....

Thanks for helping out your fellow CG'ers.

Looking forward to it Rusto!  I'd also be interested in what your process is for making a drink with this setup (like a cap or latte) - as far as what you set the PID to when you change to steaming.
Since both thermostats are disabled, I'm guessing you don't even press the "Steam" switch right?  Just change the set temp on the PID to steam temp and wait for it to come to temp?
