Here you can see part 36 - O-ring 2025 (0060-20 metric) stuck in steam outlet - i suppose it will stay here anytime you`ll try to detach steam wand, but we should be aware of it - you can lose it easily

I`m going to draw some additional pictures now because some of the critical measurements are not apparent from photos...

Here you can see details of wand. I`ve tried to measure the nut also but it is not so easy without a caliper :( - inner size is either 13 or 14 mm - depends if i take the thread into measurement or not. To be honest - i do not know if this will help us. Maybe somebody with good orientation in standard sizes ... And 2nd thing is the pitch of the thread itself...

Apart from the situation at the very end of the wand (as seen on picture) and nut size - we need at least 6cm before the first bend.
That`s why i consider the Silvia wand mentioned in first post as impossible to use without serious modification of machine`s body . . .

Knuf,
I tend to I agree.  It appears from the photos that the physical bends between the two will not work with the Aroma case.  It's also probably very doubtful if the threads on the lock nuts or the wand ends are compatible between the Silvia and the Aroma.

My next step is to find a wand that is the same diameter as the Aroma.  I will cut the Aroma wand where it extends below the case.  Then cut the "donor" wand off and braze it to the Aroma wand.  Complicated but I think this is the only way it can be done.  When and if I do actually do this, I will keep a narrative and photo record.

]We did it on our classico, so I know it can be done.  I can ask David tomorrow how it was done--I know he drilled the body of the machine, but it is not noticeable on our black machine and I like the wand a lot.

edited to say it can be done on my machine in particular
