Since I got my bottomless handle my standard handle just serves as a holder for my blind filter.

I would like to replace the spouts with a pressure gauge.  I don't imagine the thread is NPT.  What sort of adapter do I need to get to NPT so I can attach the gauge?

Thanks,

Phil

Phil,

3/8 NPT will work fine. The PF is not NPT, likely BSPT, but a little teflon tape will make the connection perfectly leak free.

Thanks George,

I'll get the gauge and the 3/8" elbow and give it a try.

I just thought - I can just leave my single basket in the handle and see my pressure every time I back flush.

You're welcome!

Some more details on the PF gauge I made:

The gauge is 1/4 NPT male. It goes into a 1/4 NPT Fem to 3/8 NPT male adapter bushing. Then into the 3/8 NPT Fem/Fem 90 elbow. The button head screw in the side is capping off the 10-32 hole I drilled/tapped for a flow control.
