Hey there! I'm very new here and haven't talked about espressomachines in english so far...i'll do my best with terms etc...
I have a faema family where the portafilter seales in a strange position, all the way to the right. I have to make a turn more than 100 degrees to seal it. The coffee that i get is great nonetheless. The gasket has the right properties, its 6mm thick. That's why I'm wondering. The "noses" (where the coffee pours out) are not one on either side but one on front and one to the back. I tried a Gaggia-ring which is 8mm but thats too much and the coffee is different then. The "shower" doesn't press the coffee that good anymore which makes the water run too quick and leaves a wet grind-mud behind. any suggestions anyone? Thanks for help and answeres regards, pilgrimm
