I've a AVR Butterfly on order that I'd like to use to monitor various temperatures on my Elektra. Now it already has a thermistor on board, but I figure I could demount it from the board and epoxy it to the boiler (or something).
It looks like the various thermocouple amps zero out the thermocouple at the 'cold' junction. I've read about a 30 gauge thermocouple being placed inside the group head of the Elektra without having to drill holes in it. (Ideal since who knows where this will take me). I've not found any thermistors that are priced about the same as the Omega 30 gauge thermocouple.
