I've just cleaned my La Pavoni Pro, which I've done several times before. It does include cleaning of the group head etc. After assembling everything, the water does not come through the group head. Steam does work fine and the water is boiling correctly etc.
How can it be, that there's no water coming through the group head?

Look inside the boiler. Do you have a lot of scale buildup? Could be the dipper tube is clogged. Does your machine have the brass or ryton piston? Sometimes the piston can unscrew from the rod which won't allow water into the chamber, and may also push out the screen. Inspect the piston and report back.
Glad you fixed it. One of the main causes of this after servicing is due to the user installing the lever's yoke upside down. If you look at the holes, they are offset a little. When installed upside down, the bottom of the piston will not full expose the inlet hole in the grouphead, producing only a trickling of water. And as you've seen, a piston that is unscrewing will do the same.

I am glad I found this post on the forum. My situation is similar. In the last year, I have replaced the seals twice. This last time, I tested it and it ran like it was brand new again. However after pulling about 30 shots from it the water is starting to trickle out and the group does not fill up with water. I recently moved when I discovered it was not working correctly so I thought maybe something happened to the seals due to pressure and elevation. Now I am wondering if it is something I did not do. I cleaned and lubed all the parts, replaced the seals to the group head as the seals to the sight glass are fine. Any help to understanding this would be great.
