WLL only carries two lever machines in their inventory from what I saw online, a couple of Pavoni models...
Did you make the trip? Did they have more in the store than online?
PS- I have been combing Ebay for an old Cremina, Pavoni or Elektra with a good history / story... levers are cool! There is a learning curve, but that is half the fun... well, except that part about all the high priced sink shots... ;-(

What make / model are you asking Santa for??
PS - I am with you on the Ebay assessment... I look there sometimes to find a special deal, but have trouble pulling the trigger on some types of items - like espresso machines. But the Cremina - they are so tough to find, and Ebay is just another option... btw did you see the two that sold recently on Ebay? One was a mint, darn near never used, almost new in the box (with the original Rancilio box)... very nice, it sold for over $1500. It was sold three days before I started looking on Ebay for them in early December... just my luck.
Then there was a beautifully restored Cremina that sold for $1250, I was exchanging notes with the seller, but never bid... he did the restoration himself, and said he used the OE vids to do it, but I was just reticent about pulling the trigger.

About 7 years ago, which was way before I became interested in espressos, I found myself in Clearwater, FL. Stopped by a local coffee shop (where it is I can't remember) that was using the most beautiful machine I had ever seen. The barista pulled the lever down, then released it after a few seconds, and its movement captivated me. The only thing I remember was the naked lady on the back. Turns out it was a Victoria Arduino La Leva 3 group.
