I've decided to start combing ebay and craigslist for Europiccolas.  I _think_ I want a millennium version, and I would like to be able to tell form photos which is which, simply because a lot of the machines I see on ebay are not listed as either, (probably out of ignorance).

So what are the visual cues that positively ID a millennium edition?

Generally the group of the millenium models are thicker in the group body.  Home-barista has a good photo of the difference.

This site may be helpful to you, it has a history of the Europiccola, the changes that were made along the way, and the year the changes were made- with pics.
