I just bought a brand new La Pavoni Stradivari 8 cup machine for my house. I read the manual and it says this:
"When the green lamp starts blinking alternatively it is due to the normal functioning of the machine, which automatically regulates the pressure in the boiler."
However, I've never seen this happen and I've waited up to 40 minutes letting the machine heat up to proper temperature. I've experimented and waited less with only 4 oz of water and it never has once turned green. Is there something wrong with my machine? Should I return it and ask for a replacement?

Before I'd return it, I would push in the reset button (accessible through the base, from the bottom). More likely, however, would be a loose connection in the wiring. Best to return for replacement under warranty before tearing into the wiring.
