Posted Thu Mar 14, 2013, 2:26pm Subject: need cheap pavoni lever piston and pins fix
((After replacing the seals on the piston and cleaning the group head, I noticed that I no longer got a nice shower of water coming out. I was confounded for a month or two before finding that
My Lever's Pins (Click Here (espressocare.com)) were worn and their diameter greatly reduced at the critical point of contact with the Piston Lever.
I am not sure when this happened, but it prevents the lever from bringing the piston high enough to expose the water port inside the cylinder. I recently hammered the rivet in the Piston Lever down, because it popped out (as they are known to do), but that had nothing to do with these holes. The metal is quite soft in my opinion.
Any suggestions on how I can make the Piston Lever's holes smaller, or replace the pins with something? I can't afford the $100+ for the replacements from espressotec.
