My La San Marco has a small leak under the mercury pressure stat switch ans was wondering if there is a casket that is available for fixing the leak. The leak is small. I've also seen water come up into the cavity of the pressure switch. I'm also looking for adjustment of the pressure on the machine using the pressure stat switch. Is it clockwise that increases the pressure?

So just to be clear on the adjustment; Clockwise on the wheel increases pressure and counter clockwise decreases pressure at 1/10 th of a bar per notch.

It's a very small leak right now and I'm investigating if there is a casket in between the body of the pressure switch. What I want to confirm is just setting the pressure right now. I had removed the 3 screws and didn't realize that the copper clip should have been in front of the thumb wheel to move one notch at a time. When I realized that, the pressure switch moved freely several locations. The machine went to 2.7 bars and I turned it off with the concern of the pressure relief valve being set off on the tang. I just want to confirm that for sure that clockwise on the pressure switch wheel increases the bars and counter clockwise decreases the bars.

This past weekend I documented the movements of the thumb wheel on the pressure switch and it is counter clockwise to lower the pressure. La San Marco is now at 1.5 bars and making good coffee. Not to concerned about the leak since it is small and I only turn on the machine for about an hour to make coffee.
