I am extremely late to this party, but I am glad to see you went with a Bosco! I have restored about many lever espresso machines, with the majority being vintage commercial levers, and the build quality of a hand built machine (when done by a skilled craftsman) cannot be compared to any other machine. Parts of a Victoria Arduino are put together by a skilled craftsman, while a Bosco machine is done entirely by hand (Unless you want a copper outer shell opting to get the machine hammered copper option versus the hand hammered copper option :) ).
Joe, I believe there are pictures of your machine on Uptempocoffee.blogspot.com. I randomly ran into the images earlier today prior to ever seeing this thread. Douglas Squarek, of Uptempo, states in yesterday's post that the images were of a machine being made for Joe from British Colombia (I assume that is you?). They have a picture of the front portion of the inner frame and a picture of the finished boiler for what looks like both your 2-group machine and a 1-group they must be making at the moment too. I think we are all waiting for videos of the machine pulling shots!

Yes, that's mine! Does this qualify as an "artisan' shop :) I think once its in and tuned up we'll have a demo day for all my coffee geek friends. Some travel may be required.

if you need any help feel free to ask, but please don't think I am encroaching on your local Bosco dealer. i just want you to know there is now a global network of Bosco dealers that is growing quite quickly.

Thanks, I may. The installation manual initial installation instructions don't make sense. Someone who didn't speak english did the english translation :)
Well, I suppose I'll just have to invite you all up to Squamish for a cup of coffee and you can decide for yourself on the grouphead diameter. The Bosco 2 grp arrives in about 60-75 days. Drop me a line if you're in the neighbourhood.
