Has anybody tracked down piston seals yet?
I'm just awaiting delivery of a ce 14 c I bought on ebay, but it needs seals..

If no luck, I have access to a rapid prototyping machine and good moldmakers so there's always hope.
I'll provide updates when the machine arrives.

I have searched high and low for parts for my machine as well.  No luck so far.   If I do come across any I will certainly let you know.  If you do ever make replica seals for these machines please do let me know, I sure could use them.  Thanks so much,

Tony

My machine arrived today. The piston seals turned out to be OK, but the thermostat is rusted up. I'll have to replace that with something.

Oh yeah, Enrico of Italy.   We finally got ours just to see what's what on this machine.   We got a seal system together for this machine using O-rings instead of the massively huge U-cups which are not available except by a very expensive  (read mold or tooling charges) route, and the machine sits waiting for us to get the time to try out the system.  It is going to take some shim rings under the O-ring to make it work, but the solution should be fairly economical, and seal fine.   We have the complete machine including portafilter, but no basket.   Once we get the seals spec'd out we will likely part out the machine in our online espresso machine junkyard.  It is surprising just how huge the Enrico is, much larger than one would think when seeing it in photos on ebay!

Very interesting information about the machine and much appreciated.

Well I installed a PID in the amore.
It's making some nice coffee. The seals leak sometimes, I'll have to do something about them.
I think the spring is a little tired. I need to either find a replacement or convert it to direct lever.

The thing is a tank. Completely different to my europiccola..

I purchased 2 of these machines off eBay with hopes of making one usable machine.  I haven't dove into the project too far yet, other than taking them apart and doing a major cleaning.  The seals are shot on both, and I only have one portafilter and basket.  The base is a bit cheesy, so my plan was to make a nice wooden base to house the electronics and support the machine.  I didn't even think about installing a PID, but that could change.

I'd love to hear more about these beasts, so keep the updates coming.  If I find time to work on my project I'll keep you all posted with the progress.

WoW!!!

That is REALLY FREAKY!!!  I just purchased two ENRICO CE-12's off Ebay with the same thing in mind!
What the ?*&%#
The one guy said he had parts with it and knew the manufacturer ... we'll see!  Good luck on your project ... let me know how it goes!  What do you think the best cleaner/de-scaler is for these puppies?  Have you been able to drain it completely?  A post on here talks about using a turkey-baster?  Ciao! - Kre

Hey Leverheads!

A lot of us have been looking for a 58mm. portafilter for old Enrico machines ... here is a link for something at Sweet Maria's that MIGHT work ... with some mods?  It's made for a bottomless portafilter ... but might work!

Hope this helps someone!

For cleaner - an ounce of citric acid dissolved in a pint of water.

Mine drained completely when I pulled it apart :)  but I wouldn't be too worried about that - just descale it and run plenty of fresh water through it.
