Some things I did. -let the machine warm up -kept cup warm -used crystal geyser water -poured shot before steaming milk -Used 12 oz. pitcher Tasty latte as well. Cheers! Don't know if that's true, or whether a smaller pitcher aids the process for that amount of milk.
