I thought this was a pretty cool story.  Unfortunately, it's only still pictures and audio, no video.  But it's still nice to see some mainstream coverage of latte art.

Good photos, good story.

I was interested in seeing the judging sheets, are those common criteria on which art competitions are judged?

those guys at Octane do a great job...i m about to do a similar event here in Prague, cant wait for that...

i dont think they use the regular score sheets, i mean its a fun event, no stress right:)

latte art comps consist of 2 macchiatos, 2 capps, 2 sig drinks...8 minutes time limit, design, taste, technical stuff is considered...i have the sheets in czech only but if you want to see them i can email it...

No, these are the score sheets for official  latte art competitions (under SCAE/SCAA): Click Here (world-latteart-championship.com)

There are three of them: One for taste judges, one for visual judges and one for the head judge. There are more information on the score criterias in the link.

But what a great event. I wonder if it would be possible to run that kind of competition in Denmark... I mean if there are enough intereste people to make a real event out of it.
